Phenergan (Promethazine)

Phenergan (Promethazine) is an antihistamine used to treat allergy symptoms such as hay fever, rash, itching, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and hives. Promethazine is also prescribed to treat nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, and pain after surgery. It is also used as a sedative. This medicine works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) in your body.
